Maybe, once again, it’s time to rethink your ideas about packaging. Perhaps the 8”x 9” box appeals to parents thinking about buying the game, but let me tell you - it doesn’t swing with the kid they bring it back to. I have an after-school group of girls reviewing games and get comments like - “this big box for this little bitty disk pack.?” This generation is very into saving and protecting the environment - they have to be, after how we have abused it. As to the purveyors of girls games - Girls like to collect things. Your standard boxes goes out with the recyclables. The book size package of Nancy Drew goes on her shelf with the other things worth saving. |
